If you are flying and bringing boards always check the website of your airline to see if there are any sporting goods embargoes during your dates of travel. These embargoes tend to be ambiguous so you may need to call also. Certain airlines flat out deny surfboards during certain dates. Don't let it happen to you! Better to know and just rent than miss your flight to drive your boards home.
